“I highly recommend KLPR. Their approach and service is high level, friendly and leaves no stone unturned. I have been very impressed from the outset and would definitely recommend the firm to others.”
Kelly Klein, founder and CEO, Student@Home
KLPR was initially appointed to handle the public relations for the official launch of Student@Home in the UK in October 2013. At that time, we had achieved some traction in the UK during a successful trial period – including being nominated for numerous industry awards. Yet we were not really known in the UK press. KLPR’s brief was to ensure that our services and achievements were promoted and that key journalists from local and national press would come to hear our story at our launch event.
Upon appointment, KLPR got straight to work pulling together a list of press targets and sent out personal invitations to key players to attend the launch. The KLPR team was also pivotal in the organisation of the event, securing a venue and developing the agenda. Also keen to position me as a thought leader in the IT and technology space, the team got to work helping us draft thought leadership and guest posts covering a range of topics from how to get the most out of your gadgets, helping silver surfers to get online, as well as personal case studies which were placed in business titles.
The Student@Home launch gained significant press coverage in a range of titles specific to each of our target audiences including Student365, Chiswick Herald and Brand-e.biz. KLPR also secured interviews during the launch event resulting in press coverage in The Daily Mail’s YOU Magazine and The National Student. Because of KLPR’s dedication and hard work, the agency’s remit has been expanded as we gear up for a successful 2014 – increasing our footprint across the UK and bringing a number of exciting and innovative products to market, all of which KLPR will play a pivotal role in promoting.
