We appointed KLPR in 2007 to increase general awareness of our offering to retailers who wanted to be active in the ecommerce space. Unfortunately, due to client confidentiality clauses KLPR was not permitted to PR a number of our projects. Because of this, we instead decided to move forward using myself, as managing director, as the anchor for our PR activity and establish a solid thought leadership in the ecommerce space, in particular with Luxury brands.
KLPR worked closely with me to develop my media personality and standing. Press meetings were arranged and events were attended. Thought leadership pieces were written regularly and placed in leading titles/websites.
When I left for NYC to expand the company into the US, KLPR was appointed to continue to develop and continue to develop Pod1 UK’s media presence, while also maintaining my presence in the UK press.
Amongst other things KLPR secured me a regular full-page monthly column in leading digital magazine .Net as its ecommerce expert – this is written and researched by KLPR. KLPR also secured opinion and feature coverage in key sector titles such as New Media Age, Internet Retailing, Figaro Digital and others. Unquestionably KLPR has made Pod1 and myself famous and we are now well recognised and admired as a thought leaders in ecommerce.
