Specialist staffing agency StreetPR helped leading private hire taxi firm Addison Lee promote its new app and its new corporate identity via a massively successful leafleting campaign at major rail and tube stations across London.
The activity saw StreetPR provide Addison Lee with brand ambassadors to hand out £10 off flyers to commuters during the morning and evening rush hours over a three-week period. All leaflets carried unique codes, making the campaign fully trackable. At the end of the three weeks, redemption rate for the leaflets stood at 12 percent.
September saw Addison Lee roll out the first change in its corporate identity since it was launched 40 years ago. To back the rebranding and Addison Lee’s plans to expand outside London and more aggressively compete against Uber and similar ‘on demand’ service, Addison Lee embarked on a major through-the-line marketing push.
Darin Butler, head of customer marketing at Addison Lee, says: “We engaged StreetPR to complete the experiential requirement to our rebrand campaign, with exceptional results. Not only was the placement of the team on par with our app utilisation hotspots but also with key pickup/dropoff locations in London. That, combined with our Out of Home location buying, supported the media channels. The visibility was on-brand and performance take-up tracked back to the StreetPR activity was surprisingly good based on historic experiential activities. The Addison Lee message was supported by the active, friendly and well-presented teams we had working for us.”
