A former journalist turned PR specialist and the founder of KLPR Ltd, Kelly has built an enviable reputation within the MarComms, broadcast and technology sector, with both press and clients. She moved away from journalism in 1994, after working on local newspapers and with press agencies such as Reuters, to set up her own PR agency.
Over the past 19 years Kelly has become well known for being honest and straightforward, and has collected a sound knowledge of the advertising, marketing, digital and technology sectors. She is well placed to write and talk articulately on any topical issue relating to these industries. Kelly has two children and lives in West London.
Jenni joined KLPR in 2013 and handles media relations and communications for a range of KLPR clients spanning the digital media, promotional marketing, IT, technology and ad tech sectors.
After completing her BA (Hons) Journalism degree, she joined publishing and events company C Squared as a reporter for both M&M Global and Cream Global, writing daily news, features and profile interviews. Following a short stint there, she was appointed the online editor of mandmglobal.com, covering a wide range of topics affecting the global media and marketing landscape. She was also the online editor of Cream Global, a global resource of case studies for creative minds in media.
After completing a Masters Degree in fashion journalism from the London College of Fashion, Lucy worked in magazine publishing for almost a decade. She started at Conde Nast, handling international licensing and third party syndication, working closely with the archive team and clients such as the V&A, Rizzoli, Thames & Hudson and Sotheby's. In 2013 Lucy joined TI Media to head up syndication on the specialist magazines portfolio, pitching content to magazines, websites, book publishers and museums internationally, before moving in to a trade marketing management role in 2016. As Marketing Manager for TI Media Advertising, Lucy worked on promoting the entire portfolio of 50+ magazine brands in print and digital to a media agency and client direct audience. She joined KLPR in 2019.
Lucy has also worked in the third sector in retailing and business transformation and operations, and in a freelance capacity as a writer and stylist.
Ian joined KLPR in 2014 to head up the content side of the business. He is a skilled content marketer with strong editorial and journalistic credentials in both business and consumer environments, as well as being an experienced video editor and presenter.
Ian has created content and devised content strategies for a range of businesses and brands, including Haymarket Network (Marketing Week, Jaguar Magazine, London 2012 Olympics), The Times, La Poste, Reed Exhibitions and innovative travel web channel MeetingTheWorld.com.
Sallee works with people, startups and SMEs to create, build and grow authentic brands. She has held interim CEO / COO positions and delivered brand strategy and advisory board roles to a high-profile client list. Sallee also works as a Graphic Designer and is the Founder of Tall Guides Magazine - an online lifestyle magazine for like-heighted women with community at the heart of everything they do.
Sallee enjoys drawing on over 20 years of experience to deliver PR and project based services and workshops, all with the aim of helping entrepreneurs and their businesses to thrive.
Martin started working with KLPR in 2015 after a career as a journalist and then communications professional.
Most of his working life has been spent in the advertising, marketing and media industries, including digital. He has worked for Marketing Week, Media Week, Brand Strategy, Precision Marketing and Accountancy magazines and has contributed to many other advertising, marketing and digital trade titles. He spent some years with the City Desk of The Scotsman newspaper and has written for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Observer and The Times. He has also edited a number of computer games magazines and was Managing Editor of New Media Age when it launched.
More recently, he worked on the communications side at the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and then as Head of Communications for the Institute of Promotional Marketing, where he handled PR, member communications and Public Affairs.
Pete has worked for KLPR for the past six years as a writer and account manager. Prior to joining the company he was a freelance journalist, writing for the UK marketing press as well as leading educational technology title Times Educational Supplement Online. Pete has also run a global, video-led web channel for the meetings industry, which has seen him travel the world shooting, presenting and editing videos from a range of trade shows and destinations.
Since working with KLPR Pete has focused on creating and placing great content for clients in a range of sectors, from education, broadcast and events to digital, instore and advertising agencies. He has also helped these clients create and deliver effective content and social media strategies.
George joined KLPR in 2012 to assist with the burgeoning demand to manage and build our clients social communities. He manages Social Media accounts for our international clients across the advertising and marketing industries, working within branding guidelines to build your presence as industry leaders.
George has a background in the entertainment industry paired with experience in editing software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Final Cut Pro preparing infographics, brochures and promotional content. He is well equipped to take full control of your digital marketing campaigns, manage your blog posts and help coordinate custom events.
