KLPR was appointed by BrightRoll (now part of Yahoo) in July 2013 as the company looked to consolidate and grow its position within the UK programmatic marketplace. Their brief was to work closely with the US internal PR team and alongside the company’s corporate PR plan to create interest and understanding of the BrightRoll offering. Based on their expertise, it was a natural step from there to retain KLPR to manage PR for Yahoo’s ad tech business across the EMEA region.
From the offset, KLPR worked with our UK execs to create thought leadership ideas as well as repurposing US story angles for the UK market. Kelly and her team also worked to set up top level press interviews for BrightRoll’s exec team when they attended the Ad:tech festival shortly after their appointment and have been able to utilise their contacts to help firm up our existing commercial and events relationships with the UK media.
KLPR has generated an excellent level of coverage for BrightRoll, and more recently Yahoo (post-acquisition), across EMEA in a series of high profile titles including The Guardian, The Drum, Campaign, Brand Republic, M&M Global, Exchange Wire and Video Ad News. They have also been instrumental in establishing our company as front of mind with key journalists within our sector and are continuously working to push the brand forward in any way they can.
