“It’s great working with KLPR. They’re extremely well connected to and knowledgeable about the online marketing and advertising space. They’re also fun, intelligent and provide great counsel. They are truly part of our Spil Games PR team.”
Scott Johnston, head of global PR, Spil Games
When we were introduced to KLPR, we were looking for a well-connected boutique agency that would be able to help us deliver our message to the UK marketing and advertising press. Most people know our family of websites (including www.girlsgogames.com and www.A10.com) but not necessarily the Spil Games brand, on top of this many advertisers still don’t understand the power of gaming as an advertising challenge. It was KLPR’s job to change this.
From the moment KLPR was appointed, Kelly and her team set about really getting to grips with Spil Games and its core proposition. They worked closely with our internal PR team to ensure everything they did was aligned to our KPIs. After setting up interviews with key stakeholders within Spil Games, the KLPR team drafted a number of excellent thought leadership articles. They have also been key to us producing a very successful London based event and creating our 2013 State of Online Gaming Report.
KLPR has done a fantastic job getting more coverage than we expected within the online and advertising press. They’re excellent writers and as former journalists the content they produce is fantastic. KLPR has done a great job creating content and landing stories that have brought a lot of insight into the benefits of online gaming to advertisers as well as positioning Spil Games as a thought leader in the space. They have also helped us build strong relationships with some of the key journalists and titles in the marketing and advertising space.
