KLPR was appointed by Say Media to elevate our positioning in the UK in December 2011. At that time, Say Media had achieved little traction with past PR efforts in spite of an industry-leading offering and compelling story to tell. KLPR’s brief was to promote our services and achievements to the UK press in general. Also high on the agenda was to position our senior management team as thought leaders in online digital publishing.
Upon appointment, KLPR interviewed the designated spokespeople and developed thought leadership pieces around industry issues and topics.
In addition, Kelly and the team crafted new case studies and established a more “PR-able” format than had previously been used. Say Media’s UK Managing Director was also introduced to relevant journalists and relationships were formed.
Kelly and her team hit the ground running and on average have generated five to six pieces of valuable coverage each month in publications such as: Brand Republic, Marketing Week, The Market Leader, Utalkmarketing and Brand-e.biz. Because of KLPR’s dedication and hard work, Say’s reputation as a well known and respected digital publisher is much stronger and leadership team members are often invited onto judging and speaker panels. As a result of their successes, KLPR’s remit has been expanded to include Say Media’s owned and operated sites in the UK, including xoJane.co.uk, Remodelista and ReadWrite.
